Wood Care: Cutting Board Instructions

Teton Cutting Boards are finished with a food grade mineral oil.  To prolong the life of your cutting boards, reapply food grade mineral oil periodically to keep the board moisturized as well as to preserve the appearance of the material.

Hand wash the cutting board with hot soapy water, and pat dry after washing is completed.  Extended exposure to water may cause the board to absorb moisture, which may lead to joint separation or “cupping” of the board.

Do not fully submerge the cutting board in water, and when washing, apply equal amounts of water to all sides of the board.

Cutting boards are not dishwasher safe. With proper care, your wooden cutting boards will last a lifetime.
